Assessment becomes far more valuable when it does more than produce a result. It should also help students understand mistakes, improve performance and support measurable academic progress.
Developed for Uğur Optik, this mobile application was designed to simplify how optical answer sheets are completed, scanned and evaluated. The core need was to reduce friction in a process that typically depends on manual handling, while turning assessment into a more accessible and useful digital experience for students and educators alike.
Lime or Lemon developed Optik App as a mobile solution capable of reading optical answer sheets through device cameras. In addition to scanning, the application allowed users to complete optical forms digitally through the interface, view results instantly and access solution videos for incorrectly answered questions within the same experience.
By combining scanning, digital form entry, immediate results and answer-based learning support in a single mobile product, the project turned a traditionally manual workflow into a more streamlined and educationally meaningful utility. On the backend, the platform also made it possible to track student performance and monitor topic-level progress, giving Uğur greater visibility into learning outcomes and areas that required improvement.
The result was a more efficient evaluation experience, a stronger feedback loop for students and a mobile learning tool designed around speed, clarity and measurable progress.
