Built for Electrip, Zorlu Enerji’s EV charging and energy efficiency brand, this project focused on creating the digital backbone behind both the operational infrastructure and the mobile user experience. Operating across multiple European markets, the brand required a technology layer capable not only of supporting charging station management, but also of improving how charging decisions were calculated and presented to users.

Lime or Lemon developed the backend infrastructure and the Android application for Electrip. Our work covered station operations, real-time station availability and reservation flows, while also introducing a charging optimization layer based on multiple variables such as vehicle make and model, total mileage, inferred battery condition, weather temperature and road slope.

By combining infrastructure management with vehicle- and context-aware efficiency calculations, the project helped transform a complex charging network into a more intelligent and dependable digital service. The result was a stronger operational foundation, a more responsive mobile product and a smarter charging system designed to improve station selection and support better charging efficiency across a modern EV ecosystem.
